History of Promatica
Promatica was established in 1987 to deliver advanced planning solutions to customers in Scandinavia. The business included both consulting and the sale of software as an agent and a VAR (Value Added Reseller). Example products were the OPT Solution Suite (based on Optimized Production Technology) from STG Ltd and Qei Exec from PCF Ltd. These products were used for scheduling manufacturing processes and project and maintenance planning respectively.
Promatica has worked on diverse projects in its Scandinavian home territory as well as around the world. Projects have included the digitisation of aircraft technical manuals, scheduling window production, scheduling chocolate production, commercial aircraft maintenance and strategic planning and corporate project management solutions in the oil industry.
Kristiansand, Norway
Promatica has its headquarters in Kristiansand in the southern region of Norway called Sørlandet.
