The Promatica team has detailed knowledge and experience of scheduling, maintenance planning, project management and business strategy.

Roger Berntsen, Chief Executive Officer

Since leaving University of Agder (UiA) in 1980 Roger has worked in the IT sector as IT Manager, Director and consultant with a primary focus on planning, scheduling and logistical systems. He has worked in diverse industries such as oil & gas, aviation, food & beverages, aluminum and electronics. Roger Berntsen established Promatica In October 1987 as a solution provider of management planning and scheduling systems. In recent years he has focused on The Bridge solution, a seamless integration of enterprise activities enabling management to monitor the whole process, synchronize operational tasks and support cross functional collaboration.

Andy Harrison, Product Director

Andy has more than 20 years' experience in new product development and business consulting. He was co-founder, CTO and Director of Strategy at SmithBayes until November 2008. He has worked on business strategy and planning solutions for diverse companies in the telco, engineering and media sectors. Andy spent 13 years at Reuters (now Thomson Reuters) in a variety of project and product management roles including Head of Real Time Information Products and Corporate Web Manager.

Eilif Johanssen, Partner and Chief Financial Officer

Eilif has been a partner in Promatica for more than 10 years during which time he has developed advanced models for project and maintenance management and been responsible for all customer solutions. He has extensive experience of planning within the oil and aviation industries. His goal is to make sure that Promatica's new generation of software delivers more planning capabilities than previous software. Prior to joining the Promatica group Eilif held general and financial managerial positions in the trading, engineering and financial industries.

Harald Nilssen, Partner and Senior Project Control Engineer

Harald has spent 29 years in offshore engineering and construction and has been with Promatica for 10 years. He has consulted for a number of companies as a project management expert in the specification, implementation and training of advanced planning systems. Harald has also worked in procurement, IT, and preparation of work orders for companies such as Drilltech/Promeco, Norwegian Rig Consultants, Optiim Scandinavian and Norgas.

Torbjørn Titlestad, Research & Development Director

Torbjørn has broad experience of systems development and business process integration as a manager, developer and consultant. Before joining Promatica in May 2006 he worked for ProffCom and graduated from University of Agder (UiA) rather more recently than Roger.
